Guards and Protection in My Bunker
Place the bunker, hire the guard, and keep six-player pads paying between crate buys.
Guards in My Bunker are hired staff for placed bunkers, not a separate PvP class. The Roblox listing puts “Guard Bunkers” in the same breath as buying crates and generating money. On a six-player Yeet Pizza Productions server that means: drop the bunker, then put a person on it before you walk back to the conveyor.
This page is the protection walkthrough. Crate sources stay on How to Get Bunkers. The full loop stays on How to Play. If you have not placed a first pad, start on Getting Started.
Hire after the bunker, not before
A guard with no bunker has nothing to watch. A bunker with no guard is an unfinished pad. Recorded play treated “place down a guard” as a step in the same breath as buying a crate from the conveyor. Gameplay then parked a peasant on one bunker and a prisoner on another so those pads stayed live while the player opened more boxes.
Those unit names are what the camera showed. A public opening session also parked a bodyguard that the player read as about 2x, a prisoner around 1.5x, plus cowboy, hazmat, and SWAT. Treat those multipliers as one session, not a studio table. This wiki does not invent hire prices. If the shop lists more faces, buy what you can afford for empty pads first. Fancy uniforms after every pad already has someone. A Steampunk near $2,000/s in that same run jumped when a stronger unit was assigned — the bunker rank still matters more than the hat.
A cop came up in the same recording only as fuse chat around a bank bunker and Prison. That is not a hire guide and it is not a confirmed recipe. Prison itself rolled from a crate. Keep cops in the “seen in conversation” bucket until a shop tooltip says otherwise.
Why six-player plots still want guards
My Bunker is a simulation tycoon inspired by My Market, not a raid shooter. Neighbors on the other five plots are still close. Guards exist because the designer put them in the loop, not because this wiki needs a combat chapter. Skip them and you are playing a shorter version of the game than the listing describes.
Protection here means the bunker keeps doing its job: printing cash, including toward offline earnings. It does not mean building a vault door. Vault is a bunker name on promo art, not a lock you craft. Graveyard, Electric, Lockdown, Nature, Space, Steampunk, B, and Lockdown Ultimate are also bunker names, not guard types.
If someone on the server is louder than your HUD, use the quality-of-life toggle that hides side items so you can actually click the hire button. That toggle does not replace a guard. Patch notes for it live on QOL updates.
Shop, Halloween GUI, and Robux
Hiring happens through the plot shop, not through the conveyor. The conveyor sells crates that become bunkers. The shop is where guards, upgrades, and event goods sit. The Halloween shop GUI needed a fix in a later update; if a hire button looks stuck during an event skin, check updates before you assume guards were removed.
Robux options can appear beside cash. Paying does not spawn a guard on every pad. You still click the bunker. You still spend the hire. A paid Lockdown with nobody on it is still an unfinished pad, even if a recorded session later showed Lockdown at about $200 per second while staffed.
Do not dump the armored crate budget into a second cosmetic guard while three pads are empty. Armor was already too expensive in that recorded session. Cheap staff on every bunker beats one expensive face on a single Nature.
Guards versus fuse, artifacts, and index
Guards do not go into the fuse machine. Confirmed fuse inputs are Space, Steampunk plus B, and a Rogue robot, listed on How to Fuse Bunkers. A Rogue robot is a fuse part for Lockdown Ultimate, not a hireable guard on this page.
Artifacts boost money multi, offline rewards, and offline time. They do not replace a peasant on a pad. Equip artifacts from Artifacts and Index after the bunker is guarded. The index shows mutation icons such as Rainy; it does not hire staff.
Practical order on a busy plot
Walk pads left to right. Missing bunker: buy a crate. Missing guard: hire. Both present: leave it and feed the belt. When cash is leftover, crate spawn rate and extra slots still beat a third guard on a pad that already has one, unless the shop is clearly selling an upgrade to the existing hire. We do not invent that upgrade ladder here.
Before logout, every paying bunker should have someone on it. Offline rewards added on Day 6 assume a plot that was actually running. The income planner can help you see whether the next cash should be a crate or a hire when you are on the edge of a purchase.
There are no confirmed codes that spawn guards. There is no official Trello of staff stats. Scripts written for “Build a Bunker!” will not hire My Bunker peasants; keep that split in mind on the scripts hub. Group tester roles sit on the Yeet Pizza Productions page, and the players hub is the roster side of the wiki, not a replacement for the hire button.
The Guides Hub keeps this protection page beside crates and AFK so you remember the rule in one line: bunker first, guard second, conveyor third. That is the whole protection system this tycoon actually ships.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for bunker owners, crate buyers, and AFK farmers.
When should I hire a guard in My Bunker?
Immediately after you place a bunker. Empty pads need crates first; placed pads need staff. The first-hour order is on Getting Started.
Are peasant and prisoner the only guards?
They are the units a recorded session placed onto bunkers. This wiki does not publish a full official roster or prices. Buy staff for empty pads before chasing extra faces in the shop.
Do guards go into the fuse machine?
No. Fuse recipes use bunkers and a Rogue robot, listed on How to Fuse Bunkers. Hire guards on pads. Do not feed them to the machine.
Do I need guards if I only play AFK?
Yes. Offline earnings still want finished pads. Hire, then log out. Artifacts stretch the timer; they do not staff the bunker.
Is this a PvP game where other players raid my plot?
It is a six-player simulation tycoon inspired by My Market. Guards are part of the tycoon loop. Neighbors exist, but this is not a raid shooter. See How to Play.
